Hey I thought i would let you guys help pick my weapons or suggest weapons for me to use for my next build. Its going to be a stealth sniper build but i will use some other weapons that aren't supressed when im not in an area where i feel i need to be stealth or im spotted and i need some extra firepower. For some of the slots i have specific weapons i want to use but you can choose which of the ones you think are the best and if you want to add any weapon mods feel free to just put (hunting rifle scope) for example next to the gun. Oh btw the below choices are mine just delete them and put yours.

Sniper: Christines COS silenced rifle (choose any sniper i can always get a supressed mod)

Silent SMG/AR: .22 silent smg

Silent Pistol: 12.7mm silent pistol

Unsupressed gun: All-American

Shotgun: Riot Shotgun

Explosive weapon: Thump Thump (please don't choose something rediculous like the Esther please lol ammo is too expensive and the gun itself)

First off, I have to recommend the Weapon Mods Expanded (WMX) mod, and FO3 Weapon Restoration by Yukichagi. Largely because the former expands the silenced options, and the latter expands the weapon lists. Anyway...

With WMX/FO3 Weapon:

Sniper: Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle

Silent SMG/AR: Assault Carbine

Silent Pistol: Maria

Unsuppressed gun: LMG

Shotgun(If you must): Combat Shotgun Melee(If you're adventurous): Chance's Knife

Explosive weapon: Frag Grenade

(slot for stimpack)

Critical perk: Grunt.

I've not played any of the DLC, so i don't know what they have to offer, but if you're starting out, get the Varmint rifle with silencer and scope. At early levels, this is your sniper rifle.
