For some reason I cannot purchase Heljarchen Hall. I understand you have to be thane of the Pale, which I am. I helped out Skald's people and he gave me a weapon and the opportunity to buy land. The dialogue option to buy the property is available, and I can select it, but it never actually buys the house. It never takes my money, and the dialogue option to purchase the house remains available. I can go through it time and time again, to no avail. So I thought to myself, "I'll just advance the quest manually." However, when I put in "setstage byohhousepale 100" or "byohhousepale 110" nothing happens at all. I get no errors from the console, but from my understanding the 110 stage should add the workbench at the site, but when I head over there nothing has appeared. This seems to me like some sort of mod conflict, but I've been going through my list and deactivating mods that have anything to do with Hearthfire, but this still does not work. I've attached the active modlist below, which has most of the HF mods I'm using reactivated. I've tried this with two different characters (one with an imperial victory in the civil war, so the jarl has changed in Dawnstar) but I have the exact same problem so it's not unique to one save game. Any thoughts on what might be causing this, or why I just can't setstage around the problem and get on with my game? Thanks.
