im being told to talk to vingalmo for the next quest that can help out the clan but he wont give me an option in dialogue to ask what to do. ive reloaded a different save from before i entered the castle the last time. do i need to complete more of the main questline first or is this an irrepairable bug?

this happened to me. I think it is the spouse vampire quest.
I reloaded a save over 1 hour back and then done stuff and was told to speak to him. I only had the "you dont trust....." dialogue option.
I deleted my character because I was unable to get any other vampire quests.
