I don't know what I'm doing wrong - but all of a suddent I keep dying. I haven't made it to Balmomra yet (this is my second time around in playing the game - I finished it once). I'm currently in the cave by Sedya Neen and I just cleared the cave, but Im suddenly dying. I just fall down, or turn around and die.

I don't have any spells that are harming me. No items that could be giving me any issues. This has happened a couple of other times when I've tried to play this game again. So terribly fustrated because this is one of my favorite games. I thought I would start here.

Are you on PC? What mods are you using?

That's odd. I'm not sure of what could be causing this, but I'll keep a eye on this thread.

PC. No mods.

Have you been using fortify health spells or potions during fights?. If you have then when the fortify wears off - if your base health is on or below zero you will die.

You have the expansions installed?

When this happens, you go from full health to dead? Can you see your health drop?

I wonder if its the cave. I'm going to stay away from the slave cave for right now and come back. I'll see if that helps

Yes, both expansions are installed. The health drops significantly, and if I try potions it doesn't stay up. .

I'm not carrying any of the slave bracers or the ring from the guy in Sedya Neen (the one you meet from the Silt Rider).

Whoa, maybe that's it. I go into the cave and then get attacked by the mage with the fire, so I use a couple of health potions and fire resistance potion.

I think I'll come back to the cave when I'm higher level...

Same thing can happen if your character is a Redguard and he just used his "adrenaline rush" power. I had this this afternoon.

Well, you fixed it. I was using fority health instead of restore health.
