Wattz Electronics Laser Weapons

Cant seem to find any data regarding Date of manufacture.

I'm trying to figure when the 1st Energy weapons were being designed, manufactured and fielded.
the only data about any energy weapons in use by the armed forces is in Future Weapons today, it has an article on pg 42 about a marine sniper with a Wattz 2000 laser rifle in Nanjing. meaning they were atleast fielded prior to 2067 when the US invaded China. also in Operation Anchorage (The Chinese Invasion of Alaska 2066-2076 (2076 being the date the T-51B's are fielded to the Army)) atleast in the simulation you go through (in the fo3 dlc) there didnt seem to be any energy weapons at all (save the railgun (whos development can be traced back to the x277 "viper" magnetic rail cannon in which was developed in 2044))

yet in fallout you can find laser rifles (not nearly as common place as the AER9 in FO3 or New Vegas) but they are around.

but... when were they made??

same with the plasma caster

its the little things that get me in to a game Universe.. and sadly these pieces are missing!!!
and My OCD is going NUTS

I've already checked out the Vault. No Joy, just stats and the small info amounts of info from the 1st games.

of all I things I knock Fallout 3 for vs Fallout 1 and 2, the one thing Bethesda got right was the Crap tonnes of Back story lying around for you to find if you really looked. something the first 2 games kinda lacked. the little details

But again Beth is just as Guilty as Interplay when it comes to the Info Im looking for though.. i have almost no more info on the AER 9-14 series laser rifles than I do the Wattz brand. oh well

Maby one of the lore masters at Obsidian / Bethesda could make something up for me :P
