The new maps are well designed, and as always complete eye candy. I think Ascend is my favorite. With the two new weapons you guys found a really good gap for both, the CLAW feels part Assault Rifle and part LMG. The RHINO feels like an in between of the Marshall and Jackal. You guys found a game mode that balances and gives the awesomeness of the pole to it's own varied game mode, Possession and Team Possession. In general I think the Pole can be over powering, but in a game that is central to it, it actually makes it quite fun. The poles largest problem is that there is simply too many of them on Skyline for such a small map, also East River has a few too many. Anyway back to my point, for Frenzy, I have heard a lot of people say this is their new favorite mode, I think there could be an audience in Crysis 3 for more Deathmatch variants like Frenzy.
My opinion towards further balance that involves the DLC: Make sure that playing Frenzy (plus Hunter and Assault) that the player is completing challenges towards the pre-selected loadouts for those game modes, this includes the modules and the weapons.
Also, my biggest gripe is why is the shark so damn friendly? You give me an alligator in the campaign that might as well have been one of those kiddie alligator rafts. I swam up to the shark and punched him in the face and nothing happened. (I have heard there is something but I haven't found it yet....)
In the next Crysis, I want to see carnivorous animals hunting me and hunting herbivores. It should be 3 dangers the protagonist faces, the aliens, the militia, and wild animals. Hell make it 4 dangers and add nature, you can have earthquakes, ahhh or maybe even a volcanic eruption. I have a lot of ideas for Crysis
