Getting the real time

Post » Thu Jun 06, 2013 7:08 am

Hi,

Simple question : Is there a way to get the system's time ? That way, it would be possible to change the world when the player is not playing.

Thanks.

The only even slightly relevant functions I could find were http://www.creationkit.com/GetCurrentRealTime_-_Utility and http://www.creationkit.com/GetRealHoursPassed_-_Game. But those have to do with time since the game has been opened, and time the player has played the current save, respectively.

I did not see any to retrieve the current system time. :(

Yes I saw these, but unfortunately they're not helping.

There is a mod named "Time On Loading Screen" (by Kenney) ; I don't know if there's a way to interact with it ; I'm pretty sure it's not sadly.

Maybe with an external ini file ?

This mod adds a real time clock to the HUD, EZ2C Dialog Menu

There is also this mod

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29232

I did not look at it, Skyrim Nexus is not responding right now.

This mod is to show the in-game time, not the real one :)

It uses the "GetCurrentGameTime" function

You want to change the in game time? That's not the System Time.

Easy, use the "T" key on the keyboard and just wait. I don't think you can skip ahead hours like your thinking as there are scripts that need to run. I think you can shorten the wait time, but not eliminate it.
