When going along the road (or tracks) from Sloan to Black Mountain the game freezes every single time. I tried on the road, I tried on the tracks, I tried in between, to the left, to the right, and had to do a hard shut down each time.

It usually happened while passing the entrance to the Deathclaw Quarry. Sometimes I made it as far as the steamshovel with the Deathclaw painted on the side.

Eventually I just off-roaded north from Hidden Valley but not without being thoroughly annoyed, about restarting my machine 5 times first.
