Regarding Silgrad Tower, probably that barrel is a testing remain. The release has been rushed a little when Oblivion came, so I can tell you it is not 100% finished/tested, there are some icons missing and some meshes pointing to previous version/used no more names (I suspect some conflict with TR about using some resources), portcullis scripts not working, you probably have to find and install yourself the falmer race also.
In short, it is a fantastic mod, worth 100% just for exploring, most of the scenery is on par with TR, but it probably would be better with some resource/scripts/dialog fixing.
I have fixed/tweaked many things for my personal playing, still there would be a lot of work to do. Given the sheer size of it, I really think it would need a organized community effort.
Anyway, as I think that TR team will cover that zone not so soon, it is well worth installing/trying, just don't expect TR cure for the details.
