I'm just getting the DLC's now. What is the ideal level character to start them? I know I posted this in spoilers, but please NO SERIOUS spoilers. If this should be moved, I ask for help.

I personally start then once I reach level 50. By the time I'm done with Dragonborn and Dawnguard I'm normally level 62ish.

I started Dawnguard at level 25 and Dragonborn at level 35.

I started Dawnguard at level 20. Any lower than that and you'll be wandering where half the villagers have gone.

for me with the patch 1.9 the highest level i can reach by the way does anyone know which is the highest level you can reach?

In theory, it's infinite.

Actually there is a finite number,I can't remember what it is but it is well over a thousand.

I think its 65535.
