What is your favorite helmet?

I have to go with the dwarven helmet.

If I had to choose an actual in-game helm then it would have to be the DG full helm. :D

that clips lovely, how did you do this as it appears you're on console.

I'm not a fan of helms but if I had to choose then it would be ancient Nord, helm of Yngol and the Jagged crown...can you tell I like the Nordic style? :P

That steel horned helmet looks awesome on male warrior types. So do the dragon plate helmet.

You will need the Jagged crown, a Dragon priest mask ( any one will do ), and the helm of your choice. You then equip the Dragon priest mask and then the Jagged crown. Once both are equipped you switch the Dragon priest mask for the helm you like ( do not unequip the Jagged crown ), the crown may not clip through right away but you can control that by making a save file while wearing both the helm you choose and the jagged crown when it's not clipping through. Then load that save file, once you load in the crown will clip through your helm. As of late I've been using an Ebony helm with the Jagged crown, tis a badass look if I ever saw one  :D

Jagged crown? Its funny because i just discovered that clipping glitch earlier today. It turned out looking great clipped through my daedric helm.

It looks great with just about any helm :D I've tried it with them all but the 2 best for me would be the Ebony helm and the DG helm  The Stalhrim helms will clip through a dragon priest mask as well, not sure if the same trick will work though with the helm of your choice. Got my follower to hold onto a Stalhrim helm while she was wearing a Dragon priest mask and it clipped through so I would imagine that it will clip through other helms as well, when the process is done right

I've really come to like the appearance of the dragon priest masks, as well as the Dragonplate Helmet.. though I play vanilla Skyrim, so what do I know? u_u

Stalhrim. Heavy to be exact. The Light version is pretty ugly.

Yeah, but we'll live, I suppose.

Oh god yes, that's not even a contest. One of the worst helmets ever for light armor. :yuck:

Seconded :tops: But true Nords don't need helmets
