Problem with controller input. Seems rather odd.

Ok, I am having some trouble.

Whenever I hold LB to sprint, it will sometimes take over 5 seconds for my character to start sprinting. sometimes its fine, but there always does seem to be some kind of lag compared to when it was working fine, even if its only a tiny bit.

Also, many times when I go to shout, what will happen is... well... nothing! I go to shout and when I check the menu it says cannot change shouts while shouting. Sometimes it will finally do the shout, whether its from the original input or my button mashing, I don't know, but usually, it just resets and I can choose another shout and press it again, and hope that it decides to work.

can anyone shed some light on this? perhaps other people have had this problem?

thanks for any input. (pun not intended, but not unwelcome)

There are delays occasionally when trying to perform certain functions such as shouting or sprinting like you mentioned. I have experienced this too and it seems to have gotten worse as more patches have been released. There isn't really anything you can do about it, as far as I know. It may be more likely to happen when the console is trying to process multiple scripts or situations in the game at the same time, like during dragon attacks, in places where there are a lot of NPCs/creatures, and/or in locations with water or fog and mist, but sometimes there seems to be no logical reason as to why it happens.
