When I attempt to verify the integrity of my game cache on Steam, every single time, I get the same message "unable to validate 1 files. Will reacquire."

How do I reacquire it? Steam never "reacquires" the file, and I have completely uninstalled Skyrim, then reinstalled. Same problem.

I have exited Steam, then signed back in. Still does it.

I have read online in several forums that people have uninstalled Steam, then reinstalled Steam and they still get this problem.

Is there any resolution to this??

Normal. Happens for a lot of games.

I believe it's installscript.vdf, and it will never validate. Don't worry about it.
