I'm gonna start my first ever Hard playthrough of Fallout 3 and was hoping for some advice that'll keep me alive. I have all the DLC installed if those will help me at all. Thanks in advance.

I tried Hard but didn't like it. Too many bullet sponges for my taste. Had to get paralyzing palm to take down an overlord or a reaver and then empty 250 bullets from Eugene in their heads. Unless you like that sort of thing. Make your Endurance 8 or higher and hotkey stimpacks. Me, I find it more enjoyable to drop my endurance to 2 and heal using water sources only and carry 5 stimpacks for crippled limbs only. That way I get shot 3 or 4 times and i'm dead but at the same time I can kill raiders with 2 or 3 bullets. I find it stupid to shoot a Raider in the face 10+ times and he still alive.
