Stormcloaks=racist? Really?!

My companion is Jordis and I love her being honest about being racist. "Skyrim belongs to the Nords!" "You call yourself a Nord?" :clap: Go Jordis! Argonian go home!

He doesn't snap. He just does something like making a decree that forbids the Argonian dock workers from living inside the city.

And I don't think he would shrug it off if the problem were related to the Nords.

The whole "Stormcloaks are racist" argument always seemed quite silly to me. I mean did all of the Imperial supporters suddenly forget what the count and countess of Leyawiin used to do to Argonian immigrants?, the segregation of races in a single Stormcloak city pales in comparison to that.

With his focus on the war and the Dunmer-Argonian tensions, I can see why he would not allow the Argonians (almost called them lizard folk) into the city. NOT that I am defending him or anything.

:shrug: I won't argue the point and were I the High King of Skyrim I'd give them the marshes of Morthal myself. I thought the shopkeeper in Falkreath was biased against my Bosmer on 360 when he made the comment on not stealinjg anything in his shop but it turns out he says the same thing to Nords too.

There is no doubt that there are certain people or groups in the game who are out for their 'Own KInd' before anyone else, it's just my humble opinion that racism is not entrenched in the goverments though there is some segregation and of that there is no doubt. Segregation IS a form of racism and I understand that so I can see it from my perspective.

I just wonder if some of it is due tot he war. It may not be but then again it might IF the Jarl is worried about the population growing beyond the ability of the guard to police it.

Just my two cents worth.

I do not like the stormcloaks, but EVEN I do not condone the killing of anyone just because they insult my race. Just insult theirs and run off. :)

My take on that:

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1455721-what-makes-you-a-stormcloak/?p=22540234

The Stormcloaks' treatment of Adrianne and Arcadia that I recently learned of, should they take Whiterun (the former being one of my favorite characters, to boot), and some new dialogue I found between Ulfric and Jorleif doesn't help either.

If he did, then the Argonians wouldn't have so much disdain for him.

You also don't know if he did it for the exact opposite reasons, like it's implied.

Those savages did more than insult my race... They have a lot of nerve.

You don't need any good reason... they are Stormcloaks and that is reason enough to terminate with extreme prejudice.
