So, I've tried to get into Morrowind a few times over the years, and have been met with resounding failures time after time due mainly to me having trouble to adapting to the older mechanics. Well, I just restarted with a custom class, and so far I feel that I've been doing rather well (managed to reach evoker in the mages guild by day 3), however, the lack of fast ways to get back to where I need to hand in a quest has been bothering me.

Now, I know that it is possible to buy the mark and recall spells, but I cannot for the life of me find them in any mages guild members repetoire of spells for sale. Do you guys know where I could find them? Preferably in a zone that a level 3 character can access relatively easily?

Sorry if I'm asking a bit much here, this is my first post on the forums, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing, though you guys do seem to be far more welcoming than some other communities I've seen (Any online FPS ever, for example)

Thanks, I hadn't even thought to check the temple in Balmora (I've been sticking to that general area, just because I always lose focus and get bored if I try to handle quests in more then one town at once). I guess I probably should have.

On a similar topic though, is there anything else you could recommend to help a fledgling mage get to a stage where he can handle the world? I also use short-blade, but I managed to find a glass dagger with a paralyse enchantment on it, so I should be good there for a while. I focus on Mysticism and Illusion, with shortblade being my main way of attacking.
