Community Apocrypha #4 - Hermaeus Mora!

Community Apocrypha #4

Now a proper topic thread!

Hermaeus Mora won the vote. He is the chosen one. Now it's time for people to start adding information. If you have something to say, feel free to do so. I personally don't have a lot to say on this topic, but I hope others do since the topic got so many votes ^.^

There aren't any real rules with this, but if you are going to contribute, it would make your contribution a lot more valid if you were to back your points up with quotes and references from your sources, e.g books, dev quotes.

That's it really, just try and make the thread as good as possible and have a good time.

Sorry, but if you choose Daedric Princes then I think it would be best to pick one in particular since the whole lot of them is a pretty hefty task to cover.

Thanks :3

This is a fantastic idea, I'll have to look back at the others. My favorite topics are always the ones that deal with the nine divines, more specifically the nordic pantheon versions of the nine divines, how they are and are not the same or are more similar than we want to believe, etc etc. Especially when people find real life clues that reveal hints into the nature of the gods in the series, such as Malak the Orc's fantastic theories on Trinimac/Arkey/Orkey/Malacath. We can get into a dedicated discussion on the nature of the gods, that would be great, even if it is a lot of stuff I already knew. May lead to new theories and things I dont already know about.

That's what I meant to do, link the old threads. I'll get on with that now! :D And I'm glad that you find this interesting, hopefully we will get it back and running with the interest it had originally.

EDIT: Done.

Jyggalag. I want to know everything there is to know of him. Even if most of it is theoretical. I refuse to let him appear in one dlc and then vanish.

If there's not enough info on him, then Hermaues Mora would be my next pick.

Indeed, and with the selection on the poll, I really can't lose. Should be interesting regardless.

I added the 2 options and the past topics as well. I believe it's possible to vote on more than 1 topics, however I would only do that if I felt equally strongly about 2 topics, for example I really want to know more about the Dark Brotherhood so I only voted for that one. If you don't feel AS strongly about one of them then vote for the one you want most and the other will probably come up soon.

EDIT: Added a few more vote options from past polls.

EDIT2: People are picking 'Daedric Princes (pick one)' and not picking one.

It would be great to consolidate what we know about the Hist in one place. The rest have had comprehensive looks aplenty, but the Hist always just feel...left out. Maybe it's just because we know so little about them.

I chose Dragonborns for reasons that are obvious to anyone who has heard me rant about Skyrim. Which means it probably shouldn't win, because I don't want to be responsible for derailing the thread into a debate about Skyrim's lore additions...

The voting is over, and Hermaeus Mora has won. I shall now attempt to convert the thread.

I know practically nothing about him, and I haven't played Dragonborn so all I know about his role there comes from the trailer and the odd discussion I've found on this forum, so I'll be absolutely no help this time around. Sorry.

Should summaries on Herma Mora focus on the prince alone our can we also include his immediate... un-kin? I`m thinking of his relationship with Magnus and Julianos (the Aedroth itself, not just the Divine).

Since the point of these threads is to collect as much information as we can, there's no reason to stint on any connections you can make with the subject of the thread. At least, that's my opinion.

I agree with Peloponnese, and I can't help with this thread either as I haven't played Dragonborn and I haven't done Hermaeus' quests. I hope since the topic got so many votes that there will be people who are able to contribute :3
