So Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls game and I enjoyed it so much I decided to buy the GOTY version of Oblivion and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Currently at around 80 hrs of gameplay I have decided to proceed on doing the Fighter's Guild list of quests. I recently finished the Rat Problem task in Anvil and now I am directed by the guild members to go to Burz Gro Khash in Cheydinhal for further advancement.

This is where the problem is. This guy is nowhere. I have checked up and down the streets, all over the fighter's guild and even that little island where people say he appears. I have gone to all these locations and waited by the hour and he never shows up and he does not show up to sleep in the upstairs of the Fighter's Guild ever either. I looked up his stats and he is unkillable and only one other person out there on the net seems to have run into this problem but the follow up answers didn't yield any help. Anyone know what could be going on here? Maybe it's just a bugged game? Thanks for the help.

Most odd. Sounds like you've researched it pretty well. If push comes to shove, and you're on PC, there are console commands that will bring him to you or you to him. He almost has to be stuck somewhere he shouldn't be. But where?

Yeah, I was wondering if he maybe fell outside the cell somehow. I may try to cheese myself over the city walls and see he is trapped somewhere. Sadly this is on the PS3.

One thing to try when things like this happens is to go somewhere else in the game world, and stay away for at least three game days. Anything that's badly spawned should then be reset.

Thanks, yeah I have been abusing my welcome in Cheydinhal trying to find this guy so I will go out do other things for a while and see if that jogs him back into the game.

I'd ask if you checked the basemant, but if he doesn't appear to sleep, he's really disappeared.
