So I kill the dragon (the first one you fight at the begining) but it won't burn up and give up its soul. I've reinstalled

Skyrim , but the same thing happens. Even though the dragon is dead the guards are still cowering. BOSS says

nothing major is going on...all the DLCs could use a cleaning. I think there's some BS little file somewhere that's

messing things up. Maybe someone smarter than me knows where it's hiding? Would uninstalling the DLCs be

helpful? Thanks.

Check for dragonactorscript.pex... are you using unofficial patches?

If you can't figure it out..use console code as last resort:
setstage mq104 90

Posting your mod load order helps however the Unofficial Patches will help.

Especially the dragonborn unofficial patch if you have dragonborn..you need that if you use unofficial patches
