hi there, as you may have guessed from the title; i have a few questions to ask.
my first one is: how do you change what the text says before you activate a lever or door?
I am working on a mod that adds a floating castle to skyrim. the castle has two layers; the entry layer is in tamriel but the higher islands (which would be the castle exterior) is in its own area/cell/location. there will be a door/portal in the first layer to take you to the second. instead of saying
Open door: Istanrak, i want it to say Ascend higher: Istanrak.
my second one is: can you replace the void/greenish-gray area in a new instance with sky? and if so, what would happen if you looked down, would you see the night sky below you?
this is for the area that contains the castle exterior. i can put if in tamriel if this is impossible, but i still what it to say ascend higher: istanrak if possible, ascend higher: skyrim is ok.
my third one is: if i make a custom weapon and a custom texture .dds file, how do i make it so that it has that texture only and the change doesnt apply to every thing that uses the same model?
i am making a custom sword, its just a daedric greatsword but i dont know how to get the texture to apply to ONLY that sword.
my fourth one is: how do i place a carpet or something of the sort from vannila skyrim.
i know this is a strange and pointless question, but i want one because the lower layer of my floating castle is like a foyer, i had the idea of a sort of "ottoman empire" sort of theme where there is a carpet on the ground and some chairs here and there.
my fifth one is: can you please give me a link to a video that says STEP BY STEP how to voice a character. i read the forum and wiki and learned absolutely nothing.
i want to know this just as a valuable skill. i might have a sheogorath quest mod where you can meet a couple of his minions. one might be so insane that he only speaks in gibberish, lol. this will also be useful for other things as well.
