Paarthurnax's Nature

Post » Sun Jun 16, 2013 4:18 pm

Another thread brought up this issue, So i thought I'd post it over here...

So, Skyrim makes it sound as if Paarth didn't begin his "meditation" to overcome is natural urge for power and domination until after Alduin was hurled through time...

But what event Made Paarth want to overcome this?

what Event made Paarth suddenly decide "you know what, this isn't the way things should be"...

Less of an event and more of a slow realization, I'd wager.

Something along the lines of "Hurm. It is in the nature of dragons to seek power and domination. It did not end well for Alduin, clearly. Perhaps that is not the way. So, how do I deny myself of my natural tendencies?"

The problem with that Paarthunax aided the nords in the dragon war so I'd more of say it was Kyne who made him realize.
