Play without the updates?

Post » Mon Jun 17, 2013 5:08 am

So, I've gotten a bit bored with the game on my ps3 (yeah, I'd post in that sub-forum, but the place looks more like a wasteland that the game) and I've decided I would like to try the game on the original, buggy, crash-prone (but I've heard with some cut content) pre-patched version. But, when I try to do so, even if I delete everything and turn off the internet conection, the game still updates data before I can play it. Any ideas?

There isn't any content that was cut by the patches.

What have you heard differently?

Stuff that the consoles couldn't handle, like 6 convicts outside of Primm insead of 2, or a Drill Sargent in Mccarran. It might just be PC stuff though, I'm not sure.

novthere was quite a bit cut across the board. whatever they took outta the ps3, was also taken outta the xbox and even the pc version so that everyone got the same game.

Do u have the ultimate edition by chance because I believe that came automatically with game. Also if u have any dlcs installed, that will bring patches up as well so that the game will be reconized as the correct version.
I believe if ya want the postpatched veraion u will have to diconnect from internet hardwire and thru wifi, also disable the patches AND the dlcs.
