Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but when I take screen shots by pressing print screen, they come out darker than what I am seeing on the screen. Obviously on a PC. Is there a setting to lighten the shots?

I'm very new to pc, (2 weeks) but already discovered that if I use print screen they come out dark, like it's night time. I use F12 instead and they come out fine. Don't ask me why, I have no clue!

It was like that in Morrowind and Oblivion too. I'm inclined to think it may have something to do with the Netimmerse/Gamebryo/Creation engine itself. I import my screenshots into a graphics program and lighten them up a bit before I upload them.
