Dragon Language Translator?

Post » Tue Jun 18, 2013 8:14 am

EDIT: whoops, I meant deadric language. silly, silly me

Herro frens,

First, I have the dragon DAEDRIC language font, but I can't seem to find a way to translate it into engrish.

Liek hero: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dragon_Language

I am going to be doing something pretty freaking b.a. playas,

but it sort of hinges on the ability to use the dragon language, in a theoretical applicationism.

Is there a reference or is there a translation thingy I coudl use that makes sense?

There is no language, just an alphabet.

My sweet toesock,

I have made special thingies, with each letter of the daedric alphabet,

Since this will be a puzzle, I need a way for them to figure out which thingies to push, based on the cipher/clues.

But I'd like to use it in such a way that they would have to read sentences, either in common tongue, or in daedric, as a form of obfuscation in an acceptable predilection that is acceptable to the lore gulag.

In what way would please yourself? In what manner would get your body ready?

Well, if you want to use one of the TES conlangs, your only real options are Ayleid or Dragon. If you want to use single words, you could stretch it to Dwemer, Ehnofex, or Dunmer. All depends on the context of your puzzle I 'spose.

And everyone knows conlangs get me going.

Are you implying that i've been conned? Bamboozled? Made-a-jester??

See, i just spent about 2 hours redoing the textures for the thingies and importing them into the game. So it's YOUR job to now figure out how I'm supposed to trick folks into a puzzle based on the english language.

I'll be waiting patiently.

Explain how your puzzle works (and where it goes) and I'll provide.
