guys I just down intel cpu monitor I can see it itself downclock % oc from 3.9ghz to 4.5ghz wtf ?!

I set up in bios (forced) 4.5ghz with increased voltage looks true in asrock monitor but why it downclock ?

also I can monitor cpu usage via ctrl alt del but graph is only showing 60sec & tiny green lines so I cant compare it..

what cpu usage bench tool is the best? also looks like I must registry cpu in windows cos it downclock itself :/

THE main problem is dat videos recorded via mirillis are lagging, aftet all tweaks I think something wrong with cpu.. also recording DX9 games no lag! but DX11 a lot lags ?

guys if you can help pls look at my pc via teamviewer, thanks

Does the downclock happen only when idle, or also under load?

Have this processor, no problems, it looks like asrocks failure soft. Try to update and reset bios and delete overclocking assrock software, and look at power management in windows, use high perfomance. Try not to overclock processor, maybe u forgot to turn off turbo core while u were overclocking ot

When it comes to OCing, there are LOTS of variables. You're better off reading a guide instruction to OCing that processor and following it. Try that out first, and come back here if you have any failure.

Main problem is that mirillis action svcks bud... been there done that and i too have an i7 3770k... using quicksynch just doesnt work properly.... either the software isnt right or the onboard graphics arnt powerful enough. The quicksynch feature sounds good in theory but it doesnt actually work properly at least with the 3770k.

lol

Okay guy, here's the deal:

AMD has a BIOS option called "AMD Cool & Quiet" they've been using for years to down-clock processors when a core doesn't see a certain percentage of use. When you OC, you must turn this off. Never a problem for Intel users... until Ivy Bridge.

With the 3rd gen " i-Series " processors, Intel has included their own version of a similar feature. It's name escapes me at the moment, but if you're going to OC, you must turn this off. Depending on your UEFI features/menu, it could be located in different places, but is most likely in your Advanced settings for your CPU or System Health. Turn it off. Your problem should evaporate.

Ivy bridge cpu's get hot quickly if not cooled properly ,the thermal threshold is 105 degree's celsius but start downclocking at 98 degree's celsius.Monitor your temps with an app like real temp to see if you are reaching ivy's thermal limits.I also suggest visting ocn forums they have some great overclocking guides, heres one for asrock http://www.overclock.net/t/1198504/complete-overclocking-guide-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-asrock-edition

wat he asked, cos downclock during idle is normal depending on bios setup.

use cpu-z to check clock speed, hardware monitor to check the temps n prime95 for cpu stability test.
