Hi all,

on a clean new vanilla install I just get moved sideways after clicking on a perk. I can choose among health, magicka and stamina OK so my workaround is to use Addperk. I get the perk but the no of perks available in perks screen is not cleared.

I`m on a HP Pavilion g6 laptop, Win7 SP1. I could run Skyrim on that system flawlessly before.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

If you use the AddPerk command, the game may not award perks until the ones you gave yourself are used up. In other words, if you gave yourself two Perks, then you have to wait until the third level up to get another Perk. I also ran into this issue with the Dragon Souls for Perks mod.

I only gave myself 1 perk when advancing from lvl 1 to lvl 2 on my unmodded vanilla install and Perks to increase did not clear the no of perks available. I play now a modded game, am lvl 3, gave myself 1 perk/lvl I was entitled to and have now two uncleared perks.

BUT the main prob is that perk choice doesn`t WAD for me. BTW, my install is from disc. I actually did two installs just to check, the issue didn`t go away.
