The game freezes whenever I try to enter The Strip. I'm level 22 and I need to complete several quests in The Strip but when I try to enter the game freezes and a black screen appears. I tried using the cowboy hat and is not working. I have also tried to fast forward time, change my clothes and do some other quests. Nothing is working. I also have issues with the Restoring Hope quest. When I try to attack Nelson the games slows down and then freezes.

Sherlene, I have the exact same problem. Looks like it's very common. I'm 35 hours in and been in and out of the Strip several times, now it won't load, even on save games that are 5 levels back. goes through the loading screen, then to black and frozen console. Will I restart? Not a bloody chance. I've been a Fallout fan for 10 years and love New Vegas, but this is unacceptable.
