How Many of You....

Not me. I sometimes switch for rp reasons, but for the most part I stick with what I like the most. Before dlc, my fav was Ancient nordic, then after dragonborn my fav was Nordic Carved. I wear ancient nordic now up until I can get ancient nordic. Then I never switch for anything beyond rp reasons.

My characters wear the best looking Armor they can loot or recieve from a Questline.

Ancient Nordic from Dragonborn.

Dawngaurd Heavy.

Deathbrand without the Helm.

Archmages Robes and Boots. I do get the hoodless version by Console Command.

I will add Telvanni Robes without the Hole in the chest, if My Mage has done the fetch Quests for Neloth.

I change clothes in game pretty much as frequently as a real person would, I really only avoid mage robes and big clunky armour. I'll usually just wear "clothes" and then switch to fur armours when I'm out adventuring.

Also I always get all the way down to my loin cloth before I sleep, lovers comfort is just better that way. Also I always escape helgen with just a loin cloth until I get to riverwood.

Complex things like armors feel great at first but soon lose their appeal.

Simple things like leather, fur, and the like last forever, even if you like to take breaks to wear the flashy complex things.

And, of course, this is my opinion. The materials may be exactly the reverse for you.

Oh no, not me. You would probably be astounded how attached I can be to a certain set of armor or weapon.

My warrior hasn't used anything but an Orcish Sword with a fire enchantment since like... Level 15? He's level 74 now. He's also been wearing Imperial Armor since like... Jeez. Forever almost?

Although I do get what you're saying, and it does happen to me sometimes. Like with Daedric. Sometimes I do have to take a break from it.

Each of my characters are unique, so they mostly have a starter armor, a mid game armor and a late game armor. My latest character has worn Telvanni Robes for around 85 hours. The wife too. I make every character with a theme and has to stick to that theme until the end of time. Otherwise I get this tick on my shoulder, it's horrible.

On my current characters 2 female 1 male the females will wear fur or leather depending on what the bandits, imperials, thalmor who whatever poor smuck I kill is wearing an my male is wearing the thief guild curiass, steel plate boots, steel plate gauntlets, the black sacrament hood an a cave bear cloak an the armour suits him even though I'm heavy armour specked an I'm currently getting the rest of the black sacrament armour an aesirs armour.

An I've had that since level 5 an I'm now 60.

I do get tired of wearing daedric armor all of the time, but it gives the best protection and I don't really like anything better, and so I just stick with it.

I've got a Restoration mage who switches between various enchanted sets of regular clothes and footwear, only wearing the robes associated with her class if she's up to something purely magicky. Or when she's dabbling in alchemy, since the robes help her get into the right mindset. And my Khajiit brawler wears head-to-toe Orcish armour while out on the road but switches out his helmet for a hood and dons a cloak before heading into a hold or village to hide his face and tail. The townsfolk don't much like kitty-cats. He'll wear Thieves Guild armour when doing something sneaky, though. And my huntress wears ranger's armour while in Skyrim but slips into the Deathbrand ensemble while she's in Solstheim since she's enamoured with the Skaal aesthetic and mentality. So, yes! I switch around armours quite a bit, though most of my playthroughs have a particular type of armour they feel most at home in.
