[Help] Resurrecting NPCs w missing dialog options : V

I purchased a black horse from Skulvar. He was struck down by a Dragon at level 11. I forgot to activate Run For Your Lives beforehand.

Now, at level 48, I lost my original horse form a nasty fall. I returned to Whiterun to purchase another black horse. There was another one saddled and ready... but no Skulvar. It was then I realized that I never resurrected Skulvar waaaaay back at level 11, prior to activating Arthmoor's mod.

I entered the console and typed...

prid 0001A69C  moveto player  resurrect 1

He attends the stables at 8AM. However, his only dialog is the one line "How old are your horses?" He talks of the horse for sale but no option to buy.

I used his RefID, as shown so that the correct scripts will be involved. As opposed to making a clone that just goes through the motions, by using the BaseID.

Do we only get one horse from each stable?

Have you tried talking to his son? (the fella tending the farm) when skulvar died his son became the merchant by game logic.

I know that on xbox I was able top buy more than one horse from the same stable, so it's not that. I don't know enough about the pc yet to help, sorry!

I think the son died as well. They both tried to jump into Mirmulnir's mouth. I know the Old Lady of the family died, as she is on display in the Hall of the Dead. However, she is the only one in there. Skulvar's or his son's coffin are not there.

Thanks Andra, for the confirmation. I would think he would sell more. Maybe I need to wait a few days or something.

Well try resurrecting his son and see if he has the option. i had this bug when Keerava died. i tried resurrecting her but alas she didnt have the dialogue to sell or buy. it was removed from her data and put into Talen's. pretty sure this is what happened with Skulvar.
