Is there a way to disable trees and grass?

I'm very sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I do get a little lag in Skyrim, and if I can disable those things, I think I could get perfect FPS. Is there a way to get rid of trees and grass? I've tried messing the the SkyrimPrefs.ini, but nothing I tried works. Is there a console command or something? And yes, my computer is that pathetic.

I think the command ( tg, ) disables grass.

Yes, "tg" disables Grass

you can't Disbale tress though, as they are static objects.. you would need a Mod that removes them...

Disabling shadows will likely give you the biggest framerate boost. In Skyrimprefs.ini, find the cvar fShadowDistance and set it to 0. That disables shadows outside. If you also want to disable them indoors, then set fInteriorShadowDistance to 0.

This.

Shadows are the biggest performance killer to date.

And what's even funnier is I don't know if they came up with a better algorithm for them since Carmack's Reverse.
