Another TES VI idea

I know there must be a hundred of these by now, but bare with me on this...

The return of the dragons brings forth a new era in Tamriel. An eventual partnership with a faction of dragons once led by Parthurrnax and Odoviin leads to a new understanding of the Elder Scrolls. Monks that once spent years training to take a glimpse at a scroll were armed with the powers of the last Dovakiin, who accidentally released the knowledge when he reads the scroll to summon Alduin. These monks can now read full passages with a fraction of the training, and no blinding consequences.

But these new gains come at a cost. A monk, while reading the Dragon Scroll, which was once held deep in the Duemer capital, learns a startling truth... One that was lost to the tides of time. The Duemer, long lost, leaving behind only their cities now in ruin, and dangerous technologies that use magic in ways that are incomprehensible. These beings were thought to have abandoned the known realms of the world in magnificent flying vessels, specimens of which can be found around the world.

The scroll reveals that there was a time where Elves, Kajiit, Argonians, and Mankind once allied against the Dwarves. After a hundred years of war, the world trembled, slowly falling to the mighty war machines of the Duemer. Facing annihilation, the alliance unleashes a last resort weapon, the Elder Scrolls. City after city, the alliance seals the Dwarves into the scrolls, recalling the legend of Alduin.

During the final battle of Blackreach, the master scroll, which locked away the power of all the others, was sealed into a Duemer contraption. Blackreach was then forgotten. In fear of guilt, the war was erased from all records, and in time lost from the memories of all but the Scrolls.

300 years ago, the last Dragonborn unlocked this master scroll, and set forth a countdown to the return of the Duemer. A new disturbance has arisen. Reports of ancient machines rising from the earth, coming to life for the first time in millennia. The time is now. The Duemer will return soon, and only the mightiest warrior can protect the world as we know it. Will you become Tamriel's savior, or is this our Empire's final hour?

What do you think? I know this cannot be the only Return of the Dwemer prediction out there, but I love the idea that it may finally happen.
