So my Char stumbled upon Heartwood Mill for the first time and approaches Gralnach. He's sad because both of his parents just recently passed away. But... Low and behold, his mother Grosta is standing not 10 feet away from him.

Any clue why this would be? Like I said, it's the first visit this Char has made to the Mill (even the area of Riften in general). I know it's not really game breaking, but... It annoys me that I can't get his normal dialogue.

Edit: Just a note, I tested this little guy on a new character with the same mods as my other character active, and he was normal. So, it's not a mods issue as far as I can tell. I just don't get what would make him think his mother is dead, and why he has not been moved to Honorhall Orphanage.

I don't understand exactly your problem - but if it's related with the converation of his husband disappearing without a trace and left him and his mother alone with a mill to run...

The guest get glitchy sometimes so your only option is:

• Enter CompleteAllObjectives E3EA5 into the console. This forces the quest to be completed.
• Enter SetStage E3EA5 30 into the console. This will allow you to notify Grosta of Leifnarr's death, as if you had agreed to find him.
• Enter SetStage E3EA5 20 into the console. This will set quest stage to "Find Leifnarr" and allow you to reactivate Leifnarr's corpse. You may then complete the quest normally.
