Okay, so I finally got around to building my third house, but I have a problem. I cannot get the Jarl of Falkreath to let me purchase the land. I figured it was related to either the quest with Sindling or Bardos, but neither did it... So I completed every quest in Falkreath with no effect. I read somewhere that you can only get it after completing a quest from the steward, but the last quest was to slay a dragon.

Anyone know what I can do? The sources I tried are either wrong or outdated.

Have you talked to the steward Nenya?

Did the quests for Jarl Siddgeir? His mead and bandit problem?

When the major quests didn't work, my first thought was to ask the steward, but all she ever gave me were bounties on giants and dragons.

As for Siddgeir, my only chat options ask about the difficulty of being a Jarl and how he became a Jarl.

Check your misc quests. Odds are you still have one of his quests there.

If possible, list those misc quests here.

.... It would take a day to list ALL those quests. I will read carefully, but I am rarely in Falkreath, so I don't think I have it.
