My PC has two hard-drives, and I wanted to know if it's possible to split memory between the two. For example: Can I have some data on Skyrim on my first hard-drive, but have mods and saves on the other? Will there be problems splitting memory like this?

Does this question even make sense? I'm not even sure how in Oblivion to phrase what I'm trying to ask here, lol. Not sure how else to elaborate ATM...

Mod .esps and .esms have to go in your Data folder or the game won't find them. In this they are no different than the Skyrim.esm, Hearthfires.esm, ect - which have to be in the Data folder or the game won't find them. Any art files (meshes, textures, ect) your mod requires also have to be in your Data folder because that's where the .esp or .esm looks for them. If you try to store a mod's meshes or textures folders on another drive you'll get invisible objects or CTDs.

Saves, on the other hand, can be located on a different hard drive. I have all of my Bethesda games installed on my D: drive and my Bethesda game saves are on my C: drive.
