The idea: the player is ripped from their seat on Earth and transported to Nirn to walk alongside their avatar as two separate, but connected, people.
Elaboration: The fourth wall is a breakable object on Nirn that, with the right magics and methods, can be broken in such a way that a "portal" is built between the TES universe and ours. In this case, it has happened: someone or something by methods I have yet to formulate has broken the fourth wall, and the player, who at the time is on their Xbox guiding the Hero of Kvatch through Cyrodiil, is transported to Nirn.
This event separates the two into two different people: the Hero of Kvatch no longer has....how do you put it....their soul. Everything the player imagined, the background, the characteristics, the personality, anything that was not specifically addressed in the game is eliminated, forgotten. The Hero now only remembers what is written in the Quests section of the Menu, not the RPGing that happened in between. The player, on the other hand, has no body, because their only body on Nirn was the Hero of Kvatch, so no they wander the land interacting with the world much like Aiden from Beyond: Two Souls.
Seeing as there is a lot of fourth wall breaking/mentioning in the games (Vivec, 36 Lessons, CHIM), I was wondering if there was any way to design this as close to canon lore as possible, so that you could, in sense, do what I just explained above on Nirn, with a few slight adjustments/improvises where necessary?
The questions I need help answering from lore buffs (as I am nowhere near one) are:
-How could you break the fourth wall so that there is a meta-physical hole in the wall where players can leave our world and go to Nirn? Would it be a twisted form of CHIM, or assistance from Aedra/Daedra (assuming they know about the fourth wall)? Is it even possible with current lore?
-What would the consequences be of breaking the fourth wall like that? Would there be a giant Dragon Break? Would the planet eventually implode/zero-sum? Would nothing happen?
-How would you fix the fourth wall, i.e put the player back on Earth and patch up the hole?
Or is all of this wishful thinking and simply impossible with what we know of TES universe right now?
