Hiding added room elements (decorations)

Post » Fri Jun 28, 2013 3:35 am

I am looking for a way to hide a room's linked elements. Just for example if I wanted to work on something in one of the Hearthfire homes there is a multitude of stuff in there. Is there a way to hide everything associated to the different rooms rather than clicking each item and hitting 1 twice to make it invisible?

Also I noticed that Hearthfire seems to handle things differently than the vanilla player homes. In player homes everything is linked to a marker which as I understand it sets the enable state when the player buys the appropriate room decorations. Is there a way to disable these items so you don't have to sift through each item?

Not that I'm aware if. You can hold control and click all of the items, then hit 1 twice to hide them. That way you can at least do that to more than one thing at once. But no 'hide enable children' option exists as far as I know, but I've wanted one at times as well, so maybe in their next game they'll add it. :P

There is a select enable children state or something like that on the x marker associated to the vanilla player home stuff, but when I click it, it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.
