Hearthfire DLC has wronged me

Post » Fri Jun 28, 2013 6:33 pm

I was planning on getting Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC's today so I put Skyrim in to level up enchanting and stuff like that. I've had hearthfire for a while now, since it was released.

I had only built one house, Riverwood mansion... For whatever reason everything in and including the house itself has vanished. It's not marked on the map either. There are some fallen trees and a courier to taunt me (property purchases trololololol). I don't know if it's relevant but Lydia was my steward, she chilled at the mansion. I may have adopted a child from Whiterun.

Is there anyway to recover my hours of gaming? I'm a 100%er horder type completionist so this really bugs me to the point of wanting to restart my level 44 Nord warrior-type. It's made me worried buying the other two DLC's will have gamebreaking bugs like this one. So for now I'm going to hold off on buying them.

Things I've tried:

Restarting the game

Restarting my Xbox

Checked storage to see if file was corrupted, it's not

Checked online for a solution, haven't even found this problem reported

As a fellow 360 owner I can honestly say that I've not come across this since day 1 an I'm assuming you mean Lakeview Manor just behind Pinewatch.

Now I've had weapons fall of the racks but a house disappear.

Not once so I've got no idea what it could be.

So if you house is Lakeview Manor as "YolDovah" say i would suggest to re-install Hearthfire...

If the game data has been corrupted that should fix your house (i hope so...)

But if it's a broken save then you must eventually reload a previous save.
