Skyrim freezing alot on high end pc

Hello,

For some reason i keep having returning freeze and ctd problems in skyrim. It are only ctd's and freezes. The ctd's can happen at completely random moments and the freezes usually occur when the engine has to deal with multiple things at the same time for example: instead of two factions fighting each other, three factions fighting each other, including a dragon, and having a snowy weather. My friend has a far worse pc and he can play it smoothly at almost the same graphics! Now before we go any further here are my pc specs

Intel i7 2600 @3.4Ghz
Gtx 590 ASUS, Core clock oc'd to 678Mhz and Memory Clock oc'd to 1851Mhz on stock voltage
Running the latest Geforce 325.71 Drivers
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro m2 850 watt
8GB of RAM, running on a Windows 7 - 64 bit OS

I already tried everything i could think off. To removing all my mods and starting a clean install, to disabling SLI, and using like every .ini tweak i could find to make the game run smoother. Alas to no avail. The game still freezes or CTD's and i think it isn't mod related because my papyrus log files are only around 20kb. Would this be a hardware or software related problem? I run the game at max settings since i am convinced my GPU should be able to handle that. It doesn't really make a difference when i turn the quality to the lowest settings since it still freezes when the engine has multiple tasks.

Most of the time when i have the idea the game runs good i test it to see how it handles multiple things at once for example: spawning 20 Stormcloaks, 20 Imperials, and 20 dremora and the fps are running at 50-60 so the pc should be able to handle it looking at the hardwre side, but when something happens like a killmove or a spell the thing instantly freezes. The ctd's just happen at completely random moments for example when i'm walking trough a forest it can ctd, but it can also ctd when i'm doing nothing and just standing there.

Thanks in advance,

PS: Sorry for my bad English

First and foremost, your English is fine. Secondly, I'd advise you to refrain from highlighting your post's text in black.... makes my eyes hurt. Plus you'll probably get better cooperation and input from other Posters here by keeping it normal.

OK, so after reading what you've already tried, the one thing that comes to mind would be to remove the overclock from your GTX 590 and restore it to it's default values, see if that gains you stability.

Did you disable the Gamepad Rumble in the INI? The gamepad too for that matter if your using the keyboard.

Do not use the Nvidia Control Panel with this game, either add it to the Exceptions list or shut it down before playing.

CTDs are almost always Mod Related, if they occur with frequency, otherwise CTDs are rare.

This can also be related to Codecs, like Arcsoft or others that don't play well with MP3's. However, these issues usually stop the game from even loading, but it can cause stutter

The first program listed is the one you remove the offending codec with (Installed Codec), the second one is the one you use to find the offending codec. So, you have found the codec with the second program, now use the first program to remove it.

It is also possible to disable a codec with http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_codec.html (freeware) from NirSoft. This also works but I uninstalled the software package anyway.

You can determine exactly which codec may be causing the problem by using http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ (freeware). Install it, load a MP3 file, render it with the MS A/V buttons at the bottom of the window. Button 1 will display what codec is being used - the middle item. Button 2 will play the file, if you can hear it play then the codec is working. If you can't hear the file play then you may have found the problem, the middle item in the list at the bottom of the window is the codec that is in use. You can use the "InstalledCodec" application to disable that codec, then reload the codecs in GSpot and try again until you find the codec that may be the problem.

So, you have no mods, have did clean installation and u get freezes randomly.

As "Theleb_Ka'arna" say, get your video card's clocks to the stock again. (Put your engine clock down to 612 MHz.)

Have you any antivirus running on the Background ???

Have you experienced such problems (crushing after a while) in other games too ??
