Cry2/Cry3 Map packs are beyond frustrating

So much so I think EA should give us Cry 3 map pack free to everyone. At the least drop it to $9.99. I bought both map packs in Cry 2 and only got to play one game on those great maps, so infuriating $30 down the drain, nobody was in the lobbies. I didn't bother with the Cry 3 map pack because of this, sounds like it's the same situation. I see guys with the new weapons playing on regular maps all the time.

I don't understand why the Cry multi-player isn't beloved by more people, it's fantastic. I think it's just hard for them to get down immediately like a COD game so they just go and play COD. It's frustrating if you are just learning the game for sure and you don't have patience.

Am I wrong are the lobbies full with the new map packs, or am I right money down the drain ?

I think you are going to be wasting your money with buying any DLC for this game. I was a fool and bought Crysis 2 DLC and only got two matches in. For some reason I thought Crysis 3 would be different so I pre-ordered it. The game has been sitting there just making me mad so today I traded it in and got The Last of Us. No regrets at all, I just would get angry when I see C3 and that sense of betrayal by Crytek. They pushed out a **** product full of bugs, glitches and horrible gun balance which caused the population to die. I still have C2 and might go on to see if anyone plays anymore. Moral of the story, money down the drain, just like Crysis 2.

A rich friend of mine brought the Crysis 3 DLC for me (Just randomly decided to), so I didn't waste any of my money.

No idea about PC/PS3, but I played the DLC on Xbox for about 2-3 hours today. Sometimes it takes start a lobby, but, usually, once you get 5-6 (having a few friends can help, here.) people, it starts to build up into a full lobby.

Honestly, though, I think the main problem is that the dedicated players are the ones who got the DLC, for the most part. Not so good players probably don't like playing them, and they usually don't like playing against other decent players over and over, so they opt to go into non-DLC lobbies, and play against noobs.

I like the dlc maps nice graphics, but they are too big for 16 players. These game modes.
