Someone on here is bound to know the answer to this and it's drove me crazy for ages.

Why is Vault-Tec spelled as Vault-Tek on Vault 13's monitors during the Supermutant ending?

It probably appears in more places too but this is the one I noticed.

Is it just a mistake? Seems like a bad blooper to have in a CGI sequence.

Please someone tell me the answer to this!

Maybe through the years, it got confused as to which spelling was correct in certain vaults?

Could be a sight into more realism, showing not everyone has perfect spelling.

The FO Bible says that it is also refered to as Vault Tek or Vaulttex.

That is probably just them trying to fix that mistake.

There were a lot of mistakes and inconsistent spellings. Even Stimpak is sometimes Stimpack.
Vault-Tec is known to have had two spellings, but the one ending in C has been stated as correct.

Interesting, thanks for the responses. Yeah it probably is mot likely a cover up for the mistake as the Vault-Tek is a red printed logo so really it should be the same printed logo as anywhere else.

These things happen I guess.

I thinkI noticed the Stimpack too Gizmo, though I have no recollection of where.

The bible specifically says "Vault-Tec is used two different ways in Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. The correct version is "Vault-Tec.""
