Hey there all. I am currently looking for a certain mod that I would be really happy to see. I BELIEVE there was a feature in Morrowind in which there were armor components (by components I mean there are no pairs of clothing and some parts of the armor are separate. For example, You can wear a right hand glove and you have the option to not wear the left one. Another one being that you can wear the torso of the armor and have the choice to not wear the leggings of it). So I was wondering if there is a Skyrim mod which supports this function. I don't know if it is just different wording or what, but it will be much appreciated if someone knows what I am talking about and knows a mod for the game that has this function. Thanks.

Its been awhile since i boot-up the creation Kit, but I don't think its possible.

All the armor Slots are hard-coded, are they not?

There are way more armor slots available than what are used in the game. That's how things like backpack or scarf mods work, by occupying those unused slots. There is a mod project that has manually split up all the vanilla armors into chest/greaves, left/right pauldrons, but I forgot what it was called.
