I've created a 3D tree creator for windows, which also generates grass, shrubs and flowers, called Forester Pro. It can make a whole load of randomized models from templates (different species) and is very easy to use and only 20USD. It has got really good reviews on the Unity, Torque3D and UDK forums. So far Forester Pro will export to collada for editors (Blender, Max etc), collada for Torque3D, fbx for Unity, UDK, and XNA. I'd like to make it create content for Skyrim mods, but it seems that NIF files are required, and there doesn't appear to be any documentation. Are there any reliable plugins from 3D modelling applications that would provide a pipeline for models produced by Forester? Collada format models can be imported into most leading modelling applications.
Anyway, I would show you what Forester can produce....but apparently I can't post images....so have a look at our website.....which I also can't post as a link...so if you are interested just search for Forester Pro on google.
Hope there is a way to convert our models into Skyrims.
Best,
Matt
