for some reason my manual saves keep corrupting. whenever i go to save on a manual save file or try to load it, the game crashes with a "Disc unreadable" error, and i have to go into my harddrive storage and delete the file before i can play the game again. this has just started happening recently and never happend before. it also does the same thing to my brother who plays on the same xbox with a diffrent account.

this only happens with manual saves tho, auto saves work just fine on the same character.

any help please?

Make a backup from your working autosaves. (try them out one by one.) Delete the faulty ones and all your manually corrupted saves.

Turn all (in-game) autosaves off in the options menu (save on rest - save on wait - save on travel - save on charackter menu)

Exit your game.

Clear the cache of your XBOX 360.

Then restart the console.

Eject your disk, take it out and again in. (in another position)

Load an working autosave and start your game.

After that make a manual save.

Exit your game. (to the dashboard.)

Start your game loading the manual save you just have created.

hey man thanks alot for the response. i just followed your instructions and i think it worked! before when i would try to copy a manual save over to cloud it wouldnt work, but after following your instruction i just copied my new manual save to cloud and it worked perfectly, thanks so much!!

just a question, is it ok to turn auto saves back on, or should i just leave them off for good?
