Lost special weapons?

I mistakingly repaired lesser weapons (hunting rifle) with special (Old ........something ) is there any way to get it back?

dude im sorry but i dont think there is a way.i accidently repaired my sniper rifle with a reservist rifle which does way more damage.

Reload a save before you repaired it.

I hate it when this happens. I reckon Bethesda should make it so you can't repair regular weapons with unique ones. Though, in their defence, you should be more careful.

In honesty, this shouldn't be a problem if you keep saving regularly. If you don't, you've learned a valuable lesson.

Yeah, I'm afraid reloading an old save is the only solution. Or, just live and learn and settle for regular hunting rifles from now on.

If you are on a PC, and really, REALLY want the weapon back, you can add it to your inventory via console.

You can get the item's code from http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Portal:Fallout_3.

I did this with my Terrible Shotgun :( has to reload to 2 hours before I did that to save it. :swear:
