Merging to a clean .esp TESVSnip corruption

Okay, okay, I know there's plenty of discussion and threads about merging mods. But I was wondering if it's just as difficult or the same to merge my mod data into a clean .esp. I had just recently found out about TESVSnip corruption and now since it seems the word is that everything that it has opened becomes svcked into an unforgiving black abyss of despair and corruption, I want to make a 'clean' .esp just to be safe. But I have nine million pieces of data & references and I really don't want to get stuck opening a clean .esp as the active and my mod as an additional plugin so that I can duplicate 9,000,000 things and re-name/re-reference them. Is there an easier way to put my data in a clean .esp, or has the mod data itself been touched by the unholy hand of TESVSnip and it's unsalvageable too? I'm not entirely sure how this corruption works but I have used TESVSnip to clean out some dirty edits in dialogue and some cells.

Edit: additionally, one of the other big reasons i'm wary about duplicating/merging is because i have like a thousand recorded lines and i would rather suffer CTD issues due to tesvsnip corruption than rename/re-record them to fit the new IDs...

It depends on which version of TESVSnip you used. Try loading the mod in TES5Edit and see if it throws warnings at you.

If your mod did get corrupted, then as far as I know, you're good and well screwed. I have salvaged snipped content in the past by copying the statics from an affected cell to a new one, but forms like quests that hold complex data likely cannot be saved.

All right, thanks. What kind of errors am I expecting, and I guess, where would they be? Nothing came up and it seemed to load fine in the latest version from the Nexus (30.0.30).

Oh, wait - the only warning I got via the Messages tab was "Warning: File contains duplicated top level group: GRUP Top "HAZD" , though I've never touched Hazards...
