what is the way u like to finish the dlcs?

Post » Fri Jul 05, 2013 7:14 am

Okay, first off MAJOR SPOILERS to anyone who hasnt finished off the dlcs or havent finiahed them off a certain way.
Basically im asking, outta all the choices u had in the dlcs, what choices did u pick and why?

Honest Hearts-believe it or not, a bit conflicted with this one. I fight the white legs BC of personal prefernce AND the backing of the Randall when he tells them to strike back with righteous anger. He and Daniel want them to retain their innocence but Randall wants them to defend themselves. Unfortuantly u cant have both, but in the end the land is safer overall but at the lose of innocence.
Dead Money-chriatine stays alive, dean is ALWAYS murdered, and it depends on dog/God of my charecter, but Elijah I always trap in the vault. Dean always dies BC of whats hes done in the past, but Elijah I trap BC of 2 reasons. 1, hes gone thru such great lengths to get it, I let him have it even though its his tomb. Second off, because if hes as big of a badass as I think he is, I believe he can one day somehow get outta it. If not, at least he got what he wanted in the end.
Old world blues-Mobius I usually live alive, but the think tanks I destroy. I either do it with the charecter outta revenge for their subjects they tortured, as a mercy offing, or just becajse they annoyed the hell outta me.
Lonesome roads-im sorry, but Ulysses always dies in my game. Its either necause hes had his hands in sooo many events that ive came across, or BC I view him as a failure in failing to do what I am actually doing as well as all the others hes critizing, OR I do it because he views himself as my equal or rival and I have to put him in his place to show that hes mistaken. As far as the nukes, someones getting nuked. ill nuke the opposing faction and if im house or yesman, I will nuke both.

Dead Money: Everybody lives besides Elijah, and I make out with some gold.

Honest Hearts: Salty lives, Joshua retains his sanity, the White Legs are completely defeated.

Old World Blues: I control the Thinks Tank, Mobius lives, the Think Tank upgraded.

Lonesome Road: Ulysses' my bro.

honest hearts- I attacked the white legs because Joshua graham was amazing as a companion and i just felt it the right thing to do.

Dead money- Christine stays alive, dean dies because hes just greedy, dog/god lives because i felt bad for him and snuck past Elijah because i just could not escape the vault when it exploded (always got stuck)

Old world blues-Mobius lives, ( hes not really evil just a drug addict.) think tank lives to ( i liked the doctors)

Lonesome Road- Ulysses always lives, i thought he was an awesome character and i liked seeing him on the rock in hopeville.

DM - I've yet to get everyone to survive but that'd be my preference as I don't have anything against Dean, GoDog/Merge or Christine.

Honest Hearts - Graham maybe? He's got more content IIRC, and Daniel's strategy is bleh. In both endings Daniel is a whiner, so screw him. And getting out of Zion doesn't help anything, it's their home and they're gonna leave because they have to be pacifists? Screw that, those tribals need to learn that sometimes force is a necessity for survival, especially if you are a tribal and you're dealing with an opposing force.

Lonesome Road - Nuking someone so I can get to Long 15/Dry Wells. I don't think that it is a solution to nuke anyone and I would rather prevent it, but then I wouldn't be able to get to all the delicious irradiated loot.

OWB - I don't like to do the DLC at all. I hate it, so the best way to "finish it" is by ignoring it completely, saves me a lot of frustration.

DM: Everyone survives, turn Dog and God onto one, kill Elijah.

Honest Hearts: Wipe out the White Legs and keep Zion safe. Urge Follows-Chalk to try to find the "civilized lands", tell Waking-Cloud about what happened to her husband.

OWB: Complete all of the test sites, even the optional portions. Keep the Think Tank and Mobius alive.

LR: Nuke no one and keep Ulysses alive.

Dead Money - Keep companions alive (sadly couldn't this last time because I offended Dean Domino when we first met), merge Dog and God, trap Elijah in the Vault.

Honest Hearts - Fight the White Legs. Quit your freaking whining Daniel. The Sorrows will surely face raiders in their next location as well, are they supposed to evacuate from there too? I also KNOW from reading the Survivalist logs that it was NOT his intention for the tribe to be a bunch of pushovers. Quite the oppisote, he told them "if someone else comes along and tries to hurt them to strike back with righteous anger." I kill Salt-upon-Wounds myself because it gives the best ending for Graham. I encourage Follows-Chalk to go see civilization and tell Waking-Cloud the truth about her husband.

Old World Blues - Worth with Mobius, convince the Think Tank to keep their craziness inside the crater.

Lonesome Road - Keep Ulysses alive, usually I stop the missiles no matter what faction I'm siding with, because nukes are teh evulz.

DM: I kept all four companions alive and made sure to kill Elijah(to complete Christine's mission). I may kill Dean next time, since he's the one who put Christine in the AutoDoc

HH: I side with Graham. Zion is a borderline paradise compared to the Mojave. I don't want the Sorrows to lose it.

OWB: I kept all of the doctors alive and took my brain back. I've never been able to save Gabe.

LR: Haven't played it yet, but have read much about it. I'll probably stop the nukes and keep Ulysses alive. Maybe. I dunno. He seems like kind of a tool.

Edit: Also in HH, I fight Salt-upon-Wounds to the death so JG doesn't execute him. I would have him him spared, but he's to dangerous and [censored] up to keep alive.
