How to prolong the Morrowind experience... Tips?

Post » Wed Jul 10, 2013 1:55 am

I have been playing this game a lot from its release and have used many mods to prolong the experience. However, today I feel like I have done it all, seen everything etc. I seem to do the same things over and over again and "feel" the same things like i did my previous character.

Reading some of the topics in this forum however tells me that many people plays in a more hardcoe roleplaying style (I am more of an adventure gamer) with different stories to back their characters up. I have tried this myself and always find myself going back to my old ways making every character the same.

My question is if there are anyone out there who could give me a few tips on how to make the role playing style easier, like different mindsets or mods etc. I already have the Morrowind overhaul and Tamriel rebuilt, but I don't think new landmass is the solution... I just want a new way to play my favorite game and I guess I am to old now to figure it out myself! :D

Anyways, have a great day!

The great thing with roleplaying is that you don't need any mod to do it: it's all in your mind. All you have to do is create a character and give him/her the personality you want him/her to have and play accordingly. Just play a role... :)

I've never been good at, or seriously tried roleplaying any of my characters. So I can't help you much there.

But, with that said, there are some mods which may help make role-playing easier, by giving you some more options such as: Antares' Big Mod (command members of your faction), Julan (have you tried playing the Main Quest with him yet?), LGNPC (more quests and dialogue topics), You Are Being Robbed (lets you rob NPCs if you're playing a scalawag), Entertainers Expanded (should be good for bard-type characters), Miscast Mod (adds a new dimension to spell-casting which might be fun to role-play with - can accidentally teleport yourself to a random location), Animated Morrowind (adds to the atmosphere in the game)

Just some suggestions from me. I'm sure there are much better ones.

Do you have the Morrowind Prophecies guide? It has some great freeform quests listed in it - quests that don't have journal entries associated with them.
