Tested it, get the same error with another account. So I googled a bit and found out that GameSpy was shut down in February 2013.
At least that's what I read and it fits to your problem (which I got with another account too). I'm lucky that I still got two other accounts which I can play with, hope you got some luck too.
I hope that Crytek wakes up and actually does something for the Crysis 2 community because I actually enjoy the game.
