Master mages.....
Even with the cap of 85% resist magic, on master, 2-3 zaps with their silly staff of ice/shock/fire you go down like a rock.
Guess 450 health also does not help -.-
Any magick on AI for that fact, fraking spammers.

I agree with this, I am currently playing Oblivion again, and the leveling system is MUCH better than skyrims. Except having to sleep to level, that was annoying.
Bethesda should do the world and character design, obsidian should do everything else, lol.
Oblivions leveling system is completely and utterly broken. That's coming from someone who actually likes Oblivion more than skyrim overall. Having to get +5 +5 +5 every level to stay effective was an absolute nightmare, the only other way to make the level scaling mobs fair was to lower the difficulty waaaaay down as you level up as the mobs grew stronger.
Getting penalized for leveling up is a joke, which is pretty much what was going on unless you got +5 +5 +5 which was a piss take to get and caused you to constantly spam skills every level. Also if you choose skills as majors that level up all the time without you intending like Athletics you were screwed as you would level up too fast and not get enough time to level up you're other skills accociated with attributes you want to level up to +5 +5 +5.
Most people would just put skills they would never use as major's as to stop over-leveling and use the skills they often use as minors, which i'm sure is not what beth intented and is a sure sign of a terrible design decision.
Assuming no spell creation as a cast in stone design decision, there still are simply not enough spells. Dawnguard seemed to be on the right track, with it's 'Restoration as anti-undead Destruction' additions, and we got some more summons in both expansions, but now they are finished with development the list of tomes available still feels all a bit bare-bones.
Pretty much everything in skyrim feels 'half polished' apart from: Character models, Armour & weapons, Music, Landscape & maps, Voice acting.
So yet again here's another modern game that is aesthetically pleasing, but lacks a soul. I blame 11/11/11.
It's a great game and you can have a lot of fun with it, but it does feel a little plastic.
The water. It looks good but it's too dead nothing sails nothing happens.
Not really angry about anything but the only gripe i have is the scenery. Maybe its just me but the scenery gets really plain to look at after awhile. Especially Dragonborn's. God, the scenery in that dlc just makes the place feel so miserable. I understand it's made to look that way but i just couldn't stand it. I spent the majority of my time playing Dragonborn in the nothern parts of Solstheim. Just wish Skyrim had more relaxing spots like the grazelands in OB or the Acadian Isles in MW.
They always felt to me like the faction quests were half finished or more like a good idea on paper that somehow didn't make the transistion to gameplay.
Yes and yes. You can also throw in the entire cut Civil war content while we're at it.
Ah, the biggest annoyances in my book are:
Lack of soldiers in the CW
Windhelm Pit
All the various side quests that could have been tied up in dlc/updates
And finally, the serious lack of quests involving the Aldmeri Dominion.
The Civil War questline and all of the related things that were cut from that questline. In the end, the Civil War feels like Dynasty Warriors in Skyrim.
I also hate how shallow the guilds seem when compared to previous games. Most of the guild content is radiant quests, which feel like filler.
Only one thing really bothers me about Skyrim.
I can handle short questlines, shallow RP writing, and other buggy stuff.
However, what I cannot abide is forcing the player to do things outside of a traditional RP in order to get something. I will explain:
Are you seeing a trend here yet? Sure, there will be unique experiences in every gameplay when you join a faction- not every aspect of the game should be available to you without participating in different events. And yes, some features should be unique to those factions. But dragon shouts are the KEY FEATURE of this game. It is the primary questline- NO primary questline should require joining a faction. And no trainer that does not specifically cater to that faction should be locked into a faction. Alchemy is used by so many different RPs besides an assassin, it's really quite ridiculous.
Ok, I'm better now. I think.
The npcs spamming nonsense, the unconnected questlines and half baked marriage.
