can anyone help me out here? i have windows 7 64bit on i5 cpu with 8gig ram running on gtx 550-ti asus edition and i recently re-installed my retail non-steam version of morrowind Goty and the game works fine with no problem what so ever except that my morrowind launcher.exe will not open at all. i have to directly use morrowind.exe to play the game. when i click on morrowind launcher.exe it gives me the little hour glass on the mouse cursor saying that its running and after like literally 2 seconds absolutely nothing happens. no error messages no crash no nothing. it just there and nothing happening. and since my launcher is not responsive i can't launch the game with MWSE nor can i install MW Overhaul 3.0 (because down the install path it requires me to open the launcher via MWO installer but gets an error due to my launcher.exe not opening and being unresponsive).

i disabled UAC i am running both morrowind.exe and launcher.exe on admin via properties (not windows logged in as admin)

i tried all compatibility modes in properties. i also tried re-installing the game like 5 times using the above configs and also my installation path of my morrowind goty is NOT in program files nor is it in program files x86... in fact it's not even in the c drive, all my non steam games are installed on my D drive under my custom "games" folder. i looked all over the net but i can't seem to find anyone with my problem. does anyone know how i can get my launcher to work???
